Dynamics Deformers Particles

In the process & production lesson we would be introduced to the dynamics and particle systems purposed for design processes. The outcome of the workshops will be a series of experiments using Cinema 4d.

1.              In the lesson I had to create modifiers for design purposes.
2.              I then had to create materials and environments for the design.
3.              Then I had to create particle & dynamic systems.
4.              I rendered my work from my experiment, my examples are below.

Above are test renders of striped coloured balls falling down a spiralled shoot. In the first image I have created a squared spiralled shoot, where as in the second image the shoot is in the shape of a star. A gravity effect has been applied to these tests so that the balls fall in a realistic motion downwards in the shoot.

Above is a experimentation I created with in the workshop. In this experiment we looked at creating depth and meaning whilst using 2D shapes. We had to create an effect were numbers squares appeared as if they were flying of the page in a random post modernist fashion.

Above I have experimented with falling type. For this task we had to choose random letters in a certain typeface, and then apply a gravitational effect to them so that they fall and scatter across the ground and large type letter.

Overall I found this particular workshop to be very enjoyable as it was something I was always interested in learning how to create although I would like to have been a little more creative and added in more in this lesson. My knowledge of Cinema 4d software is growing gradually, yet slowly.
