spencer work shops

Spencer's workshops.
For Spencers coding workshop, we developed on our skills from previous years in order to create a coding that could be used for our final exhibition. We developed on the theme of the year, and made an animation of triangles. At first, we experimented with them being stationary, and used a form in which the ‘grade/effort’ of each module would be changed by a number. By changing this number, it effected the size/shape of the triangle. We then experimented with them moving randomly, but when they are not connected, it is very sporadic.

To begin with, we had to place 3 circles on our setup, these would represent our different modules throughout the year. At this point, I had placed the 3 circles to represent the modules, and was beginning to make them move randomly. This is now meant to represent how our grades/effort on each module will change throughout the course year. Unfortunately, our group did not get to finish this set of workshops, but I still enjoyed the work we did get to complete. I had never done much coding before, so this was a great way to learn the basics, and get to grips with things. It was exciting to know this this actually had a purpose, what we had created could be used for something.
